Accommodation will be held at the following hotels. We recommend you book at least 60 days prior to the conference as hotels require unsold rooms to be released at 90, 60 and 30 days prior.

Within 30 days of the conference you will need to contact the hotel directly to see if the Conference rates are still available and whether there is any availability.

All rates are per room, per night and do not include breakfast, unless otherwise specified.

Bookings

The online registration form allows you to book available rooms. You need to provide credit card details, which will be forwarded to the hotel to guarantee your booking.

Please email us your accommodation requirements if you have already registered for the Conference or if you are a bursary recipient.

Extended Bookings

Please email us if you wish to extend your accommodation booking before or after the Conference.

Payment

Accommodation and incidental expenses are to be paid using a credit card when you check out at the hotel. If you wish to pre-pay your accommodation, we can invoice for your accommodation with your registration. Any pre-payments made to Conference Design will be forwarded to your hotel. Pre-payments need to be received 30 days prior to the conference.

Changes and Cancellations

Please note the cancellation policies listed for each hotel. Cancellations and no-shows will attract a fee of at least one night’s accommodation. However, each hotel’s policy varies and late cancellations and no-shows may be charged for all the nights booked.

The Hotel Grand Chancellor

Cancellation Policy

For any rooms cancelled within 30 days a cancellation fee will be charged which is equal to one night’s accommodation.

No shows and early departures will be subject to full cancellation fee of the quoted rate per night that is cancelled or reduced.

Travelodge Hobart

Travelodge Hobart is located close to Franklin Wharf, Battery Point and Salamanca. Travelodge Hotel Hobart offers comfortable accommodation options for the traveller who appreciates value, convenience and great accommodation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations between 30-15 days of arrival will incur one night’s cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will be charged 100% cancellation fee.

The Montacute Boutique Bunkhouse

The Montacute has private double rooms, private family rooms, private 2-bed bunkrooms and shared bunkrooms (mixed gender and girls only), starting from $35 per person per night. All rooms feature high quality inner spring mattress,reading lamps, power points, shelves, and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Please note that in the style of a traditional hostel, no rooms have en suite. A range of bathroom facilities are provided.

The Brunswick Hotel
